OUR MISSION:

eL Jefe Pottery is my passion and mission in life. I aim to spread the peace and calmness that comes with the serenity of the ceramic process. Each pot represents many lessons learned and decisions made, good & bad, right & wrong, intention or accidental. Its always a surprise when the kiln opens on that glaze fire. The color explosions, and the language of the forms tell each pot’s story. Clay has a very good memory, its best to always listen to it. As the clay guides us, we tell our own story, with each touch, or brushstroke of oxides, shaping it into what it was meant to become.
